I’m just now seeing this picture, and I love this because you can tell it means something to these players. At the core it’s just a silly squid game, but anyone who has fallen short of a goal can connect with the emotion captured in this shot. It’s the beauty of competition.

This is a really cool format I’ve never seen before. Seems like you need exactly 16 or 32 teams for it to work though? No more or less, and drops during Swiss probably messes a lot up. Still, for 16 team invitationals I would love to see this kind of format.

Today's update adds (experimental) support for "early elimination" Swiss. How it is different from normal Swiss is that the organizer sets a qualification criteria e.g. 3 wins. Any team who reaches that advances. It is a variation that provides exciting competition in qualifier phase.
