I made a comment about my grief over my cat on this song on YouTube (that was clearly also about loss), and I got my first nasty comment invalidating my sadness about her, just because she was a cat.

It's a bit disheartening every time I find out the world can be so nasty and uncaring of others.

Yes, I hope so too. I just want them to terminate me at this point 😭 They've told me that they would if I continue at my current pace and Im like "omg please can you?" But I know that terminations are considered 'bad' so Im holding off on that idea urgh

Imagine 3 episodes of Love Death+Robots. Now imagine 1 person working on the concept art. Btw the deadline is also 2 months for all the character designs.

- They blamed me for not asking them to hire another artist??? Wtf was me saying "there's TOO MANY characters" supposed to mean to you? Eat my ass?

The moment I SAW the task list I knew how many people were needed. Why tf haven't they figured this out themselves??

- Ignored me when I voiced out my concerns over the scale of the project many times. They asked me "so what do you suggest? We doynt want to just hear problems." when I said it.

Bro. You're the boss and scriptwriter, YOU figure it out. YOU made the fucking story. Im just the CONCEPT ARTIST.

- They asked me for 13 (!!) character designs in 3 weeks, which I've already told them is crazy and impossible.
- Threatened to cut my pay because I 'promised' them I was able to do it. I did not.
- This project is way too fucking large for 1 single concept artist.

How it's been going so far:
- The project does not have an art director. There is no one to give the final say. That role has been switched 3 times from person to person.
- They've been going back on their approvals for designs every step of the way. They don't know what they want.

I should've listened to my heart on the day I came for the interview. They were fighting each other about work right in front of me. No one reacted either, like it was normal. Lesson learned about giving people a chance, ig...🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️
