I try to keep it mellow, though.
This book means a lot to me and I shelved it on my favorites…

This is outside of the genre I normally read, but I couldn’t put this book down when I had time to read it.

Shelved it to my favorites. #kimmichelerichardson #books #thebookwomanoftroublesomecreek
I didn’t agree with everything presented in this book, but it would be odd if I did. Long story short, shelved it on my favorites.

I want to like this genre, but it’s difficult for me. Maybe it’s because it reminds me so much of what I want to write? But not quite. Who knows? I don’t, haha.

I don’t know what was weirder; listening to this on audiobook or reading the reviews. #whomovedmycheese
I really enjoyed the writer’s style in this book. Quite a few of these “cursed objects” I knew the lore behind, but there were also quite a few I did not know about. It was an enjoyable read.

Yeah, I’m kind of cheating to get my 30 books read this year by reading a lot of the shorter ones, haha… but I’m also reading a lot of really long ones between these shorter stories.
Maybe it’s cheating using the short story as my intro into Tolstoy, but I quite liked it.

I really enjoyed #thehouseonmangostreet by #sandracisneros

I’m unsure why there are some harsh reviews, and I don’t mean in a critiquing sort of way. The reviews seem pretty mixed.

I’m not usually one for King’s short stories, honestly, but I enjoyed this one more than Colorado Kid.
I actually quite enjoyed this shirt story. #thegiftofthemagj
I don have much to say about this one.
To be fair, I just listened to these read out on #creepcast haha
One of King’s books that made me emotional while reading it. I had to take my time with it and pace myself since it was a bittersweet read for me… but it’s still one of my favorite King books.

Ah, the second book to the Oz series… I enjoyed the first book and was curious about the others. This one was cute, but I didn’t find it very remarkable.

I wasn’t overly invested in this short story by King. It was quaint, and I didn’t regret the listen (I listened to the audiobook on Libby), but it hasn’t resonated with me like some of his other stories.

I listened to this on audiobook on Libby. I have one of those generic lists of “books you should read.” I wasn’t expecting much from a lot of the books on the list, but I’ve been finding myself eating my own words…

I enjoyed this a lot.

Felt like a weird tonal shift from the first book, which, despite its criticisms, I enjoyed. This one was a little bit of a miss for me, but not enough to give it two stars… perhaps it was the absence of one of the translators? Ultimately unsure.

I haven’t been updating what I’ve read here for a while. Guess I just haven’t been feeling like social media lately. I’ll post some stuff I’ve read.
The wicked walk on every side, when the vilest men are exalted.
Motivation… I wish I could get a grasp on it.
Out there in the dark there’s a beckoning candle.
Am I perfect? Hell no. Nobody is. I make mistakes like all human beings.
Holy crap, the Reddit fandom for one of my favorite bands just ruins the vibe with the micro-aggressions.

But, that seems to be with almost any Reddit forum.
