Just a little peek from my trip yesterday. The interior of Llandaff Cathedral in Cardiff is absolutely breathtaking, and I'm still buzzing from it. More photos to come eventually, but for now, enjoy this view!

I mentioned over on my @gentlemanvampyre.com account I was in London over the weekend. I spent part of the time in Hammersmith. The first photo is Hammersmith bridge at sunset and the other is the famous Riverside Studios at around midnight.

Dusk at The Shelbourne in Dublin. This legendary hotel is more than just a landmark; it's a piece of literary history. It here that Bram Stoker met Henry Irving for the first time, whilst living round the corner in Kildare Street.

Dublin's famous Ha'penny Bridge holds a dark secret. In 1867, star-crossed lovers Private Hartshorn & Amelia Oldham facing permanent separation, tied themselves together with a scarf & leapt into the Liffey. A heartbreaking story of forbidden love hidden in plain sight.

As some of you know I was in Dublin last weekend for the annual invasion by my friends Matt and Sean bringing their Underworld NYC show to Ireland

As usual it was an amazing night full of top class tunes and top class company too.

There’s a certain pull… a homing beacon one feels for the places that shaped them. This weekend, I follow that to Dublin.

I stumbled upon this mural when I was over last, a striking piece of art. A shame to see it defaced.

Victor Noir, Pere LaChaise cemetery, Paris.
A myth says that by placing a flower in the upturned top hat, giving the a kiss statue on the lips and rubbing the bulge improves fertility, ensures a great sex life or a husband within a year.

I’m late to the party I know, but I can’t let St Patrick’s Day pass without revisiting the fair city itself, Dublin.

The centre of Dublin taken between 11pm and 3:30am including Ha’penny Bridge, the river Liffey and Bruxelles (a favourite bar)

St Mary, Redcliffe, Bristol, is one of the finest example of English Gothic architecture. There has been a church on the site since at least 1158. however the building you see here started being constructed in 1185 and was completed in 1872.

Thank you, Dublin is my father’s birthplace so it is very special to me. I get back when I can.
I love the stillness of the dark nights in Dublin, after the pubs have shut and there is no one else around. It is then when Dublin lets itself breathe and it is at it’s most magical

Photos from visits over the last three years
