✨ Fantasy Fencer ✨
🗡️ "Fencers, face your sabers forwards!"

Hi everyone! I've been working on a mobile game for a couple weeks and I want to share a first look into it! 📱

It's a 2D explore adventure game! 🧝‍♀️

I'm working on the 0.3 alpha version to expand quests and exploration 😸

I'm adding dungeons to Fantasy Fencer! Each map has a main dungeon. Mini and extreme dungeons spawn in too! Dungeons have a boss and treasure, with some bonus rooms sprinkled in too! 🗻💰

I made a little side project to test out the generation logic! 😸

✒️ Some morning dev to add more items into the game. I added a bandage item but figured... why not more? I'm pretty happy with how the icons turned out too!

Fantasy Fencer is basically all elves so the game will have tidbits of lore on how its society developed!

Hi fencers! Let's take a look at one of our story characters, Fencer Berkeley! She is the de-facto secretary for the Fencer's Guild while she is recovering from an injury. Look forward to meeting her and some other characters in the game!

Hi fencers! 🤺 Quick update: I got over my cold and finished 0.5 combat update. Today I'm putting a lil bow on 0.6 🎀 for the main/town UI overhaul! Here's some screenshots of the progress! I'm planning to make some videos on it soon too 😸 Maybe after turkey day, hehe 🦃

🌲🖼️ The Fantasy Fencer Combat screen creates colorful and randomized screens for combat now!

It's a bunch of little pieces in the background that get randomized by the game!

Also featuring a little lofi track I cooked up this morning 😸🎵

🌲🍄 Gone are the days of the simple gray background!

I also added a chunky healthbar system for the enemy on top. Still placeholder gray (hah) but it'll get more art over time 😸🖌️

🤔 Shagwolves will use their tails defensively. It probably works to scare off other animals and smaller monsters, but fencers have to fight thru it.. sigh 💢🗡️😔

All this for a puny box of treasure... and a trophy fang 🏆

⭐ I'm experimenting with a slashing combat system. Enemies will have parts protecting parts so there will interplay with armor and defense in the battle! 🦀

🗡️ Also depending on how far you slash in... 0.1 seconds, you get a damage multiplier! 🤺

Welp this Minesweeper app is falling apart 😹💦 It works on easier difficulties so I won't be playing Expert until I spend more time in the html coding den (metaphorically speaking)
