Today marks a historic step for workers in the arts. Praxis and @siptu.bsky.social have officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding, solidifying our merger and shared commitment to advancing the rights, protections and conditions of artists and arts workers across Ireland.

Here's where the journalists' and headline writers' decision to say it was a €120k "scanner" comes to the surface. Making you think of printers and other home peripherals. It is an *XRAY* scanner! Hugely specialised and valid. Insane they don't have one up and running already.
