I think SCOTUS (well, six of them) believes that their shadow docket rulings explain themselves. Every single one of them defers to the executive. They all believe in a unitary executive.

Netanyahu is trying to avoid being sent to prison and he doesn't care who he has to kill to do it. He will break the ceasefire. He agreed to it to buy time.

Republicans seem to believe they are winning. I am beginning to think they are convinced that the midterms are in the bag. Which could be true now that Dominion was sold to a Republican group with "conservative election priorities." That's the only viable reason they could be behaving this way.
