THIS is what happens when we lean into our collective power.

A testament to public pressure—Minnesotans standing up for neighbors & pushing back together.

ICE is not welcome in MN, MA, or any community.

Block DHS funding. Impeach Kristi Noem. End Qualified Immunity. ABOLISH ICE.
The immigration crackdown in Minnesota that led to mass detentions, protests, and two deaths is coming to an end, border czar Tom Homan said.

Republicans' election bill is Jim Crow voter suppression.

It would disenfranchise millions of voters, silence your voices, & dilute our electoral power.

And that's exactly why I voted NO.

These survivors were harmed by so many powerful people & failed by institutions meant to protect them.

We demand thorough investigations followed by swift accountability for all who enabled & incited this abuse.

NEWS: The House passed two of my bills under the Housing for the 21st Century legislative package.

My Helping More Families Save Act & Eviction Helpline Act will help families achieve financial goals & access eviction-related assistance.

Now the Senate must pass them without delay.

Black homeowners have long suffered home devaluation by an appraisal system rife with racial bias.

It is past time we update our appraisal system to ensure all homeowners are treated fairly & can build generational wealth.

Today marks a significant victory for Rümeysa, due process, & our democracy.

She should have never been abducted & transferred thousands of miles away to begin with.

The #MA7 is her home—where we always fight for our neighbors.
"Today, I breathe a sigh of relief knowing that despite the justice system's flaws, my case may give hope to those who have also been wronged by the U.S. government," Rümeysa Öztürk said in a statement on.nbcboston.com/9QyJLJo

Since day 1, Donald Trump has attacked diversity, equity, inclusion, & accessibility to roll back decades of civil rights protections.

@jonathanjackson.house.gov & I are demanding transparency and calling on the Admin provide a full account on the impact of these harmful executive orders.

Donald Trump doesn’t give a damn about affordability—he's trying to dismantle the very agency that protects people's hard-earned dollars.

The CFPB fights for borrowers, not billionaires.

Trump's attacks on the CFPB is an attack on working families, and it must end now.

Black unemployment rates are through the roof.

The pushout of Black workers has led to a loss of $37B in the GDP.

Secretary Bessent: analyze this, report the findings, & take action NOW.

This harm is coming for everyone if you don't.

Our Haitian neighbors are integral members of our communities, many of whom support our loved ones in the healthcare & elder care sectors.

If Trump terminates their TPS, the consequences will be devastating.

That’s why I have a discharge petition to extend TPS for Haiti without delay.

People should be allowed to sue ICE agents for violating their rights & killing their loved ones.

That means closing the loophole that prevents federal officials from being sued & ending qualified immunity to hold federal agents accountable.

It's been nine months since Secretary Scott Bessent told me the Administration will consider exempting baby products from Trump's tariffs.

But nothing has changed.

While they've been "thinking about it," working families are paying more. Unacceptable.

Last night, a federal judge temporarily blocked the Trump Administration’s cruel attempt to terminate Temporary Protected Status for Haitians.

I joined @pressley.house.gov to file a discharge petition to force a vote on extending TPS for Haitians because temporary relief isn’t enough.
February 3, 2026 at 10:33 PM
Terminating TPS for Haiti would be devastating to the 350,000+ Haitian nationals in the US—many of whom reside in the #MA7.

That’s why I’ve filed a discharge petition to force a vote on extending TPS for Haitians.

Our colleagues must sign on & join us in defending our Haitian communities.

In the same way that masked cowardly militia played the role of judge, jury, & executioner, terrorizing Black communities — that terror is now coming everywhere in the form of ICE.

This rogue agency must be abolished & we must end qualified immunity to hold agents accountable.
February 4, 2026 at 1:37 AM
That’s right. It’s inhumane & unlawful to deport people to a country in political, economic, & humanitarian crises.

This is a vital step towards defending Haitian families & we’ll keep fighting for lasting protections.

To our Haitian neighbors—your contributions are valued & you have a home here.
February 3, 2026 at 3:24 AM
Extending TPS for Haiti isn't just the moral, humanitarian thing to do—it is also good policy.

With TPS expiring tomorrow, I'm fighting hard to protect our Haitian siblings and ensure they can continue their essential work and contributions to our communities.

The people closest to the pain should be closest to the power, driving & informing our policymaking.

But for too long, big money has polluted our politics.

Proud to receive an A+ on Stop Big Money’s Anti-Corruption scorecard because I haven’t lost the plot—& the plot is the people.

Deeply relieved Liam and his dad are back home in Minnesota.

This kidnapping by ICE was egregious and should never have happened.

Thank you @joaquincastrotx.bsky.social and @repilhan.bsky.social for your leadership.

We will NOT let this anti-Black administration take away our joy.

Happy Black History Month!

Trump's gutting of agencies doesn't just harm dedicated federal workers like my constituent Claire, who enforced fair housing laws at HUD.

It harms the communities and the people they deserve, and it prevents agencies from fulfilling their mission.

Trump's DOJ is lying & violating the law.

They claim they released the Epstein files, but there are 3 millions pages missing.

They don't care about accountability or survivors—only about protecting pedophiles like Donald Trump.

Release ALL the files.

My heart aches for Minnesota & communities across the country reeling from horrific ICE attacks.

Their pain is raw, and it is real. But their resolve is even stronger.

Neighbors organizing their blocks, protecting families at school drop off, leading mutual aid drives.
