Like most of you, I make valueless meritless art. By day, I'm an ML professional, specializing in agents, graph ml, predictive networks etc. By night I experiment in the profane, the impossible. I post successes and failures. It's a blast

Just generally, I don't think robots are going to be difficult to code for. Especially the newer ones. It's just another agent system. I build those every day.

Here's my plan. Assuming the Trump Administration doesn't ban transness or make it impossible for me to get my medication, I've got two years to work this out. Thinking at the moment, that I'm going to get a boat, jack it the fuck up with tech and sensors, 30 iphones for lidar and ai cores

It happened again. I just wrote this really cool agent system that used the latest and greatest flux model to do image generation. This time, with a sexy little iterative workflow where the agent can see what it's rendering and help revise it. But then, 24 hours later...

Something just occurred to me. I think most gen-ai, other than LLMs are going to reach a point soon where they've reached maturity, and feature adds are going to stop. Flux2 and Nano-banana might well represent the final form for imgen. From there, new models are going to start competing on density

I'm just going to call it. The Slate pickup is going to the VW Bug of the 21st century. It checks all the boxes.

Stupidly cheap, infinitely customizable, ugly as sin. Unremarkable in every way.

I want one.

The argument for foreign keys has always been, "But I'm too stupid to know how to write clean testable code, so I need the database to impose draconian data integrity rules in everything that I do!"

That's not a reason.

HOW ABOUT WE BUILD MORE SOLAR PANELS AND BATTERIES INSTEAD OF PURSUING ELECTRICAL AUSTERITY

The real innovation in the system I'm building is the way it handles prompt synchronization. It's pretty slick. The system doesn't actually pass system-prompts or tool prompts, even from mcp's across every response. It syncs the prompts and tool instructions, and burns it straight into the system

my boss is arguing against a local nas for data backups and saying we can just eventually use a cloud solution. as though we didnt just lose our only copy of our entire quickbooks database. like, last week.

The busy37 sample agent is going to come online tonight. I've named it Kit. The first thing I'm going to do with it is generate some images against my noise paintings, and then let it iterate though several versions on its own, making targeted prompting changes, and reviewing the images for quality

657 followers on a new TikTok (one week) + a couple of my posts passed 50 likes.

This is much better than I was doing on X.

In general, I think I'm tired of hearing that training is "all about the dataset." Six different people have said that to me this week, as though it's a statement that means something. It doesn't. Forget about data. Think about process, methodology, and thought structure, instead.

Y'know, I'm actually a big believer in artists rights. I'm self interested there. But Suno and Udio are both about to agree to distribution schemes where living breathing performers are "credited" for AI work. This is a TERRIBLE idea. Have you listened to AI music lately?

So the Busy37 Special Server app I'm building feels like overkill. It does so much cool stuff. And the workflow is wild. Only big problem with it is that you'll need a DGX Spark to run it all. When I put this out with the client, I'll offer a smaller version that'll work on normal gpu's

So here's my plan. Next year, I'm moving out, and buying a houseboat or something. When I do, I'm going to need a roomate. So I'm designing one!
