I saw the new drummer Anika Nilles a few years ago drumming for Jeff Beck and she and bassist Rhonda Smith were a formidable rhythm section.

That said, she’s got the toughest of shoes to fill.

Personally, I’ve always regarded (sharp intake of breath while I fasten my body armour) it’s overrated. But for Starless, it’s an average at best album. But it carries the KC name, so I guess that always tends to move it up a notch or two.
