There is some partial senses restored. He can eat or drink, but doesn't really need to. If he does, things either taste bland or watery (think too much water in a soup, not enough salt in a meal). At least bad food won't make him sick.

He's partially free. He can act of his own will, but he doesn't feel things as he's used to. He's always cold to the touch, doesn't really need to eat or drink, and well, he's a bit... undead :P

He got as a personal quest to find someone powerful enough to reverse the whole undead part.

To keep the theme, he's a former Paladin who died in battle, and was reanimated to serve a powerful entity. In the game I currently play, it was a Runelord that left his seal, and now the control over him is lost.

Gave him levels as an Oracle so he could do magic related to death and so.
