I think that's part of the reason why nazi inspired villains in scifi and stuff usually don't have arm bands. You can get the point across without using hate symbols.

And the worst people often still like Nazi villains cause it makes them feel powerful, they just cheer for the bad guys.

Much later, but I really love the early Spider-woman run when it was all horror themed. Wolfman said it was because he didn't know what to do with the character, but it's still a favourite run of comics to me. Just chained to a guy who wants to die but needs someone to die with him for it to stick.

I've been struggling financially since September due to the tariffs.

My business Bibipins is in trouble. Not only am I making less sales and with smaller amounts. But people have been refusing their orders (which I don't get back) due to the tariff costs & wanting full refunds.

We have a group that the main character feels genocide against them would be justified. And I can't help second guessing that. What annoys me the most is the clapback to anyone who shows discomfort in that narrative. But I do think it's a good manga/show that probably doesn't intend harm.

When I watched the episode. I think I was struck with how flat the comedy is (normally this kinda thing makes me squirm, but I didn't squirm, I just looked on in disbelief). That while it was problematic I thought it wasn't as bad as last weeks, I think I changed my mind they're both really bad.

If people are enjoying this season of Strange New Worlds, that’s 10000% ok. You’re allowed to have escapism. But the people getting angry at those of us upset at its deep conservative logic saying “you’re thinking too deeply, just enjoy it, it’s a fun scifi show” are being deeply anti-intellectual.
