Yesterday, QUFA members voted in favour of divesting our pension from weapons!!
This is a HUGE victory and testament to months of organizing. It’s just a first step - we’re only one union in the larger multi-institutional University Pension Plan - but it’s a massive one.

This post reminded me of a thoughtful piece that a friend, a photographer & a journalist, wrote long ago. It was about his relationship with his camera that was damaged by cops at a student protest against the Hindu nationalists in Delhi.
