I realized my mother wishes for me to fail at everything in hopes I come crawling back to her in need of help. She doesn't want the best for me, she wants to be a savior. She said I needed to move back in with her and she would feed me every day. That's not real love, that's bragging rights.

My mom in talking in the family group chat about how she foud my bible from when I was 16 and that she'll "send it when I'm ready". I'm good. I don't need a book about "loving everyone" from a lady who says the n word.

One of my favorite parts of the live action Tekken movie is how everyone is afraid of Yoshimitsu, but nobody mentions that he’s the only one allowed to bring a sword to a fist fight.

One Battle After Another was described as a screwball adventure. I mean kinda, lol, it’s VERY CURRENTLY RELEVANT which kind of takes a bit of the screw away from the ball.

It was awesome, though. Super stressful and Benicio Del Toro was 11/10.

One of my songs got 1000 streams in a day on Spotify, I guess somebody put a bot on it. I know I didn’t.

CD baby removed the entire album without telling me & when I appealed, they said “we know you probably didn’t do it but we aren’t reinstating or refunding anything”

We’re in hell.

Well, bad luck birthday again this year. Luckily before my mom’s call & the end of the night were GREAT.

Got butter chicken from my favorite local Indian place. Watched Weapons, one of my favorite movies, with a couple friends who hadn’t seen it. Played a bunch of Borderlands 4 w/ my best friend.

When a movie is stressful and needs an instantly calming likable person, they keep getting David Jonsson and it’s a perfect choice.

He played an “emotionless android” in Alien and was instantly endearing.

The part I didn’t like about the new Conjuring movie is when they were like “the Warrens pushed forward paranormal research at a time when it was ridiculed”.

So yeah, they were frauds who opened the floodgates for more frauds to prey on the vulnerable. Good job, yall.

We’re doing the narrative set, also playing with my friend Beth’s band. I hadn’t played with her in over 10 years and we both ended up in Kansas City!
