"By 2025, Brexit had reduced UK GDP by 6% to 8%, with the impact accumulating gradually over time. We estimate that investment was reduced by between 12% and 18%, employment by 3% to 4% and productivity by 3% to 4%"

This is how our government has been corrupted:

1) Donors give huge sums to elect politicians to office
2) Elected officials rewrite rules in the donors' favor
3) Donors make huge profit
4) Repeat

We must get big money out of politics.

It is the root of our dysfunction.

They deleted the line in which I describe Donald Trump as “the most openly corrupt president in American history.” /1

Trump hasn’t been deeply involved in the details of the Ukraine peace plan, according to a U.S. official cited by The Washington Post. "You tell him, ‘I’ll try to make a deal,’ and he says, ‘Great, go see what you can do.’ That’s the level of engagement," the official said.

NATO Secretary General Rutte says Trump and his team, Rubio, Hegseth, and Witkoff, are actively working to resolve the war. In reality, they’re pushing a deal behind Ukraine’s back that favors Moscow. Rutte shouldn’t repeat the same old trick of appeasing Trump at Ukraine’s expense. Its dangerous.
