Grifford Academy has pretty amazing gameplay. It is like a mixture of a coming-of-age YA novel meets tactical combat. It is a bit janky on the Steam Deck controls, but it is a good experience on my Mac.

“Pain heals, chicks dig scars, glory is forever” - Shane Falco, The Replacements

I could care less about American Football but god this is a great quote from a fun movie.

I was explicitly told not to buy the Switch 2 by my wife and children. I assume it will become a Father's Day gift. However, every day, seeing all these posts about the console, the games, and people living their best lives is torture on my Switch 2-less soul.

June is tournament month for travel lacrosse around here, and every weekend will be me watching all three girls across two different age groups go out and play hard.

I unabashedly love Black Mirror because I am a sci-fi junkie. Today I found out that S7:E2 Bête Noire was even more brilliant than my first viewing. Apparently, elements within it are randomized by Netflix, making subsequent watches also experience the Mandela Effect. Brilliant.

This is a FANTASTIC list for players to review before playing D&D.
I have had a lot of success as a player and DM by discussing in advance roughly where we're going, and what moments everyone would like to have.

If anyone knows who made this, please let me know!

On a very rare snowfall in December here in NJ, my three lovelies paused throwing snowballs at me to pose for a picture.

I dusted off my world building skills this weekend, generating a gazetteer handout for a new campaign we are starting. Is there anything better then a blank slate, waiting to be turned into something usable, full of wonder, and hopefully not too tropey?

I have five books by Jon Peterson on my bookshelf. Of those, nothing had me furiously putting in post-it marks and underlining more than The Elusive Shift. Matt Colville just shared this video, and I am overjoyed to see the same level of effusive joy at Peterson's research.
