For the first time in 52 years, coal power generation fell in China and India last year.

Electricity generated by coal plants fell by 1.6% in China and by 3% in India in 2025, after a boom in clean energy across both countries.

For the first time in the US, patients can now receive the first-ever GLP-1 pill for weight loss.

The pill's cost will be much lower than an injection.

The FDA has approved the Novo Nordisk pill for use to reduce the risk of major cardiovascular events, such as death, heart attack or stroke.
First GLP-1 pill for obesity from Novo Nordisk launches in the U.S.
The drug's cash prices are among the lowest on the market, ranging from $149 to $299 per month, depending on the dose.
