I see a lot of people saying "just DO IT", and yes, that's what I was going to say, because it's the best advice.
However, addendum: if you're planning on uploading pages/strips/etc. regularly, try and keep ahead with a buffer of several uploads, just in case life happens and you need a day off.

I'll say this much... Aiden and Hazel Burdick are characters I've given as much of a sympathetic treatment as I've felt they needed. I feel one of the characteristics of a good writer* is to be able to get into the heads of characters who hold opposing views to theirs.

I wouldn't discount "played on construction sites" and "explored ditches serving as road medians" (the latter a thing I actually did when I was 5).
People like to say that Gen Xers are as Hardcore as we are because we drank from fucking garden hoses and had little to no supervision from our absentee parents, but really I think we're all just fucked up from all our trauma bonding in childhood.
