I finally organized the files to re-release my webcomic "The Witches of Bizharr"! ^^

This is a complete adventure in 90 pages of comics. Available in English and Portuguese.

Craig Thompson's comics are beautiful. I sometimes feel the need to reread the same section of a story when I realize I've gotten distracted by details, but I attribute this to my ADHD.

That said, sequences drawn with greater detail can be intentionally designed to evoke contemplative feelings in the reader.

In action sequences, however — unless the goal is to emulate slow-motion effects like those in action movies — a lower level of detail can help maintain a faster pace.

Hyper-detailed art doesn’t always contribute to the story.

When someone tells me they stopped and spent 10+ minutes admiring the artwork in a single panel, I wonder: Was this a deliberate narrative pause by the author, or just the artist flexing their skills at the expense of storytelling flow?

What comic book opinion would have you like this?

Yeah, I have to agree. There’s nothing more annoying to me than a DM who expects players to be “Dungeon CSI,” poking every inch with a 10-foot pole — otherwise, they blame the players for falling into traps…

Great series! For some reason — probably because of Ridley Scott’s involvement — I believed for a long time that Raised by Wolves was part of the Alien timeline. In my heart, it still is. ^^

These Vaarn characters are really cool. ^^

I'm glad you liked it. My plan was to make a zine, but I lack the energy (and creativity) to fill so many pages. haha

New Origin for FLÉAUX! – one of my favorite @kobayashi-rpg.bsky.social games. My take on bringing Warhammer Fantasy's Skaven as a playable species.

The name "Skard" comes from Álvaro Lopez's RPG Satanic Mars.
Page describing the Skard origin.

It features an illustration of an angry-looking ratman running with a dagger in each hand. He's dressed in 16th-century sailor attire.

Page text reads:

SKARD [New Orign]

The Skard once ruled an empire before the rise of humankind. Today, they are rare among civilization — but rumors say they are returning...

You grew up... [d6]

2. hiding in a nobleman's attic, +1 Dexterity or Erudition.
3. among the pit fighters of the undercity,+1 Melee.
4. as an initiate of a Chaos cult, +1 Charisma.
5. as the mascot of a mercenary company, +1 Shooting.
6. in the laboratory of an insane alchemist, +1 Strength.
