Barring some exogenous event, the violent repression by ICE and CBP will keep ramping up. There are two outcomes: the people are crushed by masked thugs, or the thugs are pushed out by force. Nat’l and state dems have no strategy but to delay either outcome and hope things work themselves out. (1/2)

Right wing media will use any activity or speech they don’t like as a bad faith attack against an entire movement. They have convinced a significant number of centrists and dems that a protest is only valid if this doesn’t happen. Those centrists then become unpaid enforcers for Fox News.
