Dont get me wrong. Any Warhammer Quest is a day one purchase for me and I am super excited this is happenig. I just wish they werent winking and nodding at me and went all they way in instead

GW handle of AOS/TOW is like a messy divorce. Plaintiff got limited custody of Lizards but recieved Beastmen in the split. They wont shit nor get off the pot. Two settings that could be their own big, distinct IPs if given the chance, instead caught in this indecisive push/pull of shared identity

Speaking of, the person at Relic responsible for the Blood Ravens colour scheme cooked so much. The muted, dark red fits so well with the dirty bone of the shoulder pads. They pop on the screen and on the table

Obligatory whining time - they gentrified it. The whole point of Mk II is to look archaic and crude. Like a 19th century diving suit. They streamlined it too much, made it look like a variant of their latest Mk 3. The fact the legs now have engraved lines, instead of overlapping plates, is a shame

The success of Bethesda shadowdropping Oblivion remake with no pre-marketing only reinforces my belief that Valve should skip the tired, exhausting Teaser/Trailer1/Launch Trailer pipeline and just drop Half Life 3 on people one day with absolutely no preamble

My introduction to Warhammer was through a WD issue where this man bantered with three of his subordinates during a battle report in which they all decided to gang up on him (in his words - "intresting way to resign"). White Dwarf's massive drop in quality and character was marked with his departure
With great sadness, I have to report Paul 'Fat Bloke' Sawyer has passed on.
If it wasn't for Paul, I would never have become a White Dwarf writer. He had faith in me when many others did not.
It is likely because of Paul that I am now making comics.

Old WHFB will always have a place in my heart above other game settings but every once in a while I stupidly dip my toe in the cesspool of its social media groups and I am reminded that TOW player base has some of the stupidest, whinest, most patheticaly elitist cunts that walk the face of the earth
