25-30 years ago, I used to play the Star Wars CCG by Decipher, including making my own "dream cards" in MS Paint. Today, I found one of the last dream card concepts I wrote but never finished, and then finally turned it into a reality.

Today, I made "bad tortellini." Instead of boiling the pasta in water and then draining and adding sauce, I just boiled the pasta directly in the sauce. This made the texture quite different, and yet I was specifically craving this odd nostalgic dinner.

Last night's dream apparently involved the phrase "a dragon in a slow cooker." I don't know if I should be happy or sad that I didn't remember anything else once I woke up.

Yesterday, I suddenly remembered the song "Minasoko ni Nemure" from the anime "Blue Submarine No. 6." I probably hadn't thought of either in at least 15 years. I wonder what caused that neuron to spark?

I have come to the conclusion that cars are like suits: The less money I have to spend on them, and the less time I spend IN them, the happier I'll be.

(Spoiler Warning?) In a surprise twist, the game Look Outside is based off of the ending to the first Men in Black movie.

Brilliant Idea: A mascot fighting game called "Strongest of the Strong." Every fighter is a character voiced by Tara Strong @tarastrong.bsky.social (Batgirl, Bubbles, Raven, Timmy Turner, etc.). Pros: Great variety of characters, only really need one voice actress. Cons: None, this is awesome.

For a brief 12-hour period today, I owned multiple games but not the system for it. This follows my pattern of buying games now and the system later, starting with the 3DO, then Sega Dreamcast, Playstation 4, and the Nintendo Switch 2. Never did get a Dreamcast or PS4...

I misread the weather report this morning. Instead of "potential for significant icing," I saw "potential for significant itching" and got VERY nervous.
