posting my own dms bc I don’t wanna repeat this but wanna say it out loud

My heart breaks for the way I watch people treat and talk about my brothers as if one ounce of violence is not enough. People talk about transmascs + men like everyone should wait until statistics show violence + death rates as high as transfems + women to address the issue of violence + death of trans men + mascs. Like no we don't actually!!
I don't feel protected by people forcing my brothers in front of me as human shields sorry!!!!!!!! I want to protect them too!!!!!! I want them to be protected!!!!! I recognize they need protection as ppl with marginalized genders oppressed under patriarchy!!!
I'm so tired of people acting like support is a physical pie and if you give someone a bit you have less to give to someone else. It's just not true. I have enough room in my head and brain and heart and body to carry the weight of all of our pain and suffering and value it all equally and despise it all equally.
It's not that hard for me actually. It's not hard at all. What's hard for me is being encouraged constantly to turn a blind eye to the suffering of my trans kin.
