I’ve seen gameplay of other ports, The NES I’ve just felt closest to the original (some of the sprites are scaled down in some ports, and I think functions differently in some)

And Galaga '88 would connect Galaga's world to Bosconian (as the game mentions having been 7 years after Galaga takes place), thus connecting Galaga to Star Luster.

It makes zero sense to me that they have this 4000 year gap in the timeline and nothing happens between then and Thunder Ceptor.

Boss Galaga are also known as Bosu (According to the devs)

The Fighter also has a variety of names, ranging from GFX-D002a to GFX-D002h (8 variations). All of which are registered as "Fighter".

Sigmund Yeager, the faceless protagonist of Galaga and its sequel, Galaga '88.

In UGSF Lore, he was the hero who discovered the secrets behind the Galaga aliens when little was known about them.

This is just a fan interpretation of the character since he's never been drawn before.

To my greatest understanding, there’s evidence suggesting these two games are set in the same universe.

I could talk about it for hours because I obsess over the concept, but that would be a nightmare for people to listen to me.

This is what I get for being a Namco fan.
