What a delightful fucking community 🤘❤️ #goatmire
I had no idea @pragtob.bsky.social can speak Swedish like a pro.
Hostile architecture. The goal is probably to prevent sleeping on the bench. This is awful, but it's all too common.
This is very frustrating for an app that is supposed to help bring calm into my life. So, please do invest in better development processes and especially QA. Also please respect your users more and add a way to report bugs. Otherwise, the message we get as users is that you don't care.
Dear @calm.com, your android app has become abysmally buggy. Not only does it freeze and crash, with the latest update it stops the playback if you put the app in the background and return to it.
You also don't have any way to report bugs. Not in app nor on the web.
Yeah, this only works on the "one-way" has_many relationships.
This is a very interesting edge case.
As I read through the post I started thinking... Would it not be better to use an embedded schema for the Core.Step ? What do you think?
I recently read Martha Beck's Beyond Anxiety and for the first time I felt a glimmer of direction in regards to my struggles with motivation.
I can't agree more. It was perhaps the most curious, compassionate and inquisitive treatment of #ADHD and MH in general.
I really recommend Gabor Mate's books on ADHD and related issues. Scattered Minds and The Myth of Normal had shifted my perspective. It helped me see it as as much of a gift as it is a challenge.
Now, just some GPT magic and we have engagement ;)
I got used to it over time and let go of my perfectionist tendencies
What was really annoying was the slight misalignment of the lid and case (one fell open from knee high on tile).
I have done that accidentally to several MacBooks over the years. Aside from physical case deformation, the computer worked great. If it bothers you, you can sand the edges or find a donor case on ebaym
Dear @mikrotik.social when could we expect ATL 5G to come out? Is there any guidance on the price point?

🚨HIT THE PHONES TO SAVE MEDICAID - PLEASE AMPLIFY & ACT 🚨

TODAY the House will be marking up deeply unpopular massive Medicaid cuts.

MANY GOP on the committee are in tight districts. Calls and pressure ARE effective here.

Call today. Type your zip to get a script ⬇️

Please call your Representative right now and leave a voicemail, or first thing on Monday morning before the mark up session begins.

Heavy equipment, mining or earth moving devices?

I'd love to know some companies in unsexy industries, which could be better served.
Elixir is where I landed, quite by accident (or series of little accidents) technology-wise. Languages are tools in a toolbox, though Elixir feels more like the screwdriver from Doctor Who (capable of seemingly everything).
The market is indeed awful. I have been struggling to find a fit, too. More because I didn't specialize in one area, but dove neck deep into different areas over time. There are jobs for cheap junior people, but fewer for broadly experienced folks.
I would add energy/hardware efficiency as well as stack simplification (fewer technologies needed to deliver a solution). It also makes hiring simpler (albeit difficult for now, due to the talent shortage in Elixir, but this is changing)
Apparently I have been living under a rock. Please spill the beans :)

I have some news for you:
nervesconf.eu

As the organizer I am mystified at how these things don't reach people. I feel like I've been annoying at spreading it :D
