Winter walks can be risky for dogs in cold weather. Shorten walks near 20 degrees Fahrenheit, use sweaters for vulnerable dogs, wipe paws after walks, and watch for signs of discomfort. Indoor enrichment helps on very cold days.

Antifreeze is a serious winter hazard for pets. Ethylene glycol tastes sweet, so even small spills can attract dogs and cats. A teaspoon can be life threatening. Clean spills quickly and keep pets away from puddles. ❄️🐾
