When I was initially laid off I thought it would free me up to spend unlimited time for creative pursuits. Instead, it's put me in stasis. Constantly fretting about every little expenditure and anxiety/depression has stripped me of all motivation.

I went to church today. Not for religious reasons, but as an attempt to break a long-term, tech-aided, deep isolation. Seeking a real-life, human, ANALOG experience.

My campaign (announcement?) post in the MA subreddit has been met with a boom and support (and some criticism... apparently brass knuckles adorned with vaguely communist iconography is not a wise political insignia). I even have a crew of people willing to campaign and organize for me.!! :O
