Anyone who doesn't know me, but sends me a private message that includes "Hello beautiful" earns an immediate block. I'm SO tired of these types of accounts. 🙄🙄🙄

It's not perfect. We have houseless populations, but every major city I've visited in the last 5 years does.

But war ravaged? I have yet to see that in my three years in this area.

If they can fix the traffic issues, now that would be much welcomed.

President Donald Trump said living in Portland, Oregon, was like “living in Hell.”

For many Portlanders, the city is something closer to heaven. The trees stay green all year long. The coffee is good at every shop.
Is Portland ‘War-ravaged’ as Trump claims? Here’s what residents say.
President Donald Trump had said living here, in the nation’s 26th most populous city, was like “living in Hell.” Portlanders mostly met the news with confusion.

She should read this. Two universities and a lot of researchers contributed to it.

This is what holds me back from doing just the smallest most basic functions. Am I contributing to the problem by using it just for fun image making?

💰 The New Yorker puts a number on it—

$3.4 billion

That’s how much Trump & his family have profited from his presidency, estimates David Kirkpatrick.

(Mentions my reporting too.)

A comprehensive estimate of how much Trump and his family are making, from hotel mega-deals to crypto schemes, has been elusive—until now.

#ICYMI: Kristi Noem, while governor of South Dakota, supplemented her roughly $130,000 salary by secretly accepting $80,000 donated to a political nonprofit she was affiliated with, records show.

She never disclosed this income on federal ethics forms.

A dark money group paid $80,000 to Noem’s personal company when she was governor of South Dakota. She did not include this income on her federal disclosure forms, a likely violation of ethics…

If you'd like to offer comments on the misleading & error-ridden US federal report, "Critical Review of Impacts of Greenhouse Gas Emissions on the U.S. Climate," the link to do so is below.

Comments are due by Sept 2. Pls see next post for links to resources that debunk the claims in this report.

Are we great yet?

Twice in a week? I was in an ATC recently, hearing a radar operator argue with a pilot. The private pilot wanted to do his own thing, and the controller rightfully shot him down and said no, several times, very forcefully. Safety is #1 he said.

100% agree. I am in the warning business, and lead the Montana EAS Committee for several years. I have no idea what any of these "missing people" alerts are. I get that loved ones want to stop a loss from happening to others, but it's gotten out of hand. www.thewarnroom.com/post/missing...

I wish airlines had an age limit in exit row seats. I have little confidence in an emergency with an elderly woman who may weigh 80-90 lbs in getting us out safely. :( I know this is discrimination, but my safety doesn't outweigh their comfort. She's barely 5'5, leg room shouldn't be an issue.
