Flu & covid vax day — & I’m still uncertain which mRNA to ask for. Do I wait for Novavax availability? Last year the other place was all atweet with knowledgable opinions; this year I‘m lost.

Appointment for #Covid and flu #vaccines tomorrow. I had 5 (6?) Pfizers & then last year the #Novavax. Novavax is not yet available. Can anybody point me to a good scientific source for which one to choose this year? Do I wait for the Novavax or just get on with it & opt for #Moderna or #Pfizer?

It’s a daily effort to reconcile the topsy-turvy reality of J6 pardons, ICE brutality, Guard deployment, REFUSING TO SWEAR IN AN ELECTED MEMBER — and THEM calling US the insurrectionists. (How innocent to think I began using social media as a wee effort to raise PDAC symptom & funding awareness!)

Unfortunately they can and will do whatever the eff they want short term. But long term, the US Gov’t will be paying billions of $s in civil claims for the harms they have caused in violating/ignoring the law & the rule of law, including the people beaten to a pulp in immigration raids.

I’ve been around long enough to remember older children in my primary school who’d contracted polio. It was a scary time— & we placed such hope & trust in science (and the sugar cubes!). A great read ⬇️
