This morning, I had sleepily trimmed half of my beard and face before realizing I forgot to put the guard on. So I had no choice but to go totally clean-shaven. On the bright side, my reaction confirms that I do indeed like the facial hair on me; I’d still been debating it a bit.

Tonight I went to see @natanlast.bsky.social discuss his book "Across the Universe" (about crossword puzzles) at a bookstore. I didn't bring my copy to be signed, since I had bought it elsewhere previously.
So instead I had him sign one of the "Heated Rivalry" books I'd bought moments before.

Looks like only 5 of the songs I voted for will make the list this year (6 if "Dansevise" does super-well somehow). I'm fine with that, but I do wish voters would someday get on board with how damn good a song Nina's "Caroban" is. #ESC250
