I've heard about Bluesky so much on my favourite podcasts that I finally decided to check it out. Looking forward to following those people I love to listen to, finding new inspiring voices to learn from, and picking up the odd freelance job here or there.
Finishing the week with a nice, refreshing beer.

It’s been a big week. I got the chance to interview the CEO of a password manager company for an article. It was a great chat where we got into the weeds about what they’re doing to protect customers and businesses from everyday online threats.

My first article for Video Game Town is live!

I had the pleasure of chatting with Argyro Brotsi, the sole developer behind Seina: A Tale of Spirits. We discussed her inspiration for creating a cozy adventure game, the pros and cons of being a sole developer, and why she chose Japan as the setting.

New year. New chair. New headphones.

I’m starting the year with a couple of upgrades. My office chair broke at the end of 2025 and let’s just say my replacement wasn’t ergonomically friendly. Today is the first day with my new chair, and my back already feels a lot more comfortable.

Officially back to work today.

I didn’t really have a break. While I spent a few weeks in Adelaide with my parents, I did some AI editing and wrote a few articles in between delicious home-cooked meals, scrumptious outings, and a wine tasting or two.

As an old school adventure gaming fan, I highly recommend checking out this article from @gameinformer.com

Roberta Quest
We connected King’s Quest creator Roberta Williams to comedy writer Mike Drucker, who may be her biggest fan, for a conversation about the series’ legacy and a generation’s connection to it.

Greetings and salutations from Radelaide.

I’ve been down here hanging out with the folks, checking out some of the local delicacies, sampling some of the region’s wines, and chipping away at a project or two in between courses.

This is a POV of my beers in the fridge.

When Friday arvo rolls around, I make the tough decision of which one to have… first.

Here’s a project I work on every month for my main client.

I get a list of their 10 most valuable pages and refresh some of the content.

Sometimes it’s updating information, such as price changes or new products. Other times, it’s making something sound more interesting.

Here’s a POV of how my Monday mornings normally start.

Me just staring at a blank page.

Then the coffee starts to kick in and words like these start to come out.

By lunch time I’m on a bit of a roll.

It’s probably not the best idea to start the evening with a triple IPA.

Ah, screw it. It’s been a big week.

I knocked out three more articles for my new client. The feedback continues to be great.

Working out the to-do list in my head.

I’ve got to update a couple of tech articles. The company has asked to shuffle the order of some “best of” lists and update the content.

Downloading another video editing project today.

I’ve got a few I’m working through over the next couple of weeks as the year winds down.

It’s falling into place.

Not my work life. I’m still on the hunt for some content writing, content editing, or video editing after this three-month project wraps up. The feedback has been excellent. No revisions required yet, which is always a bonus.

No time for a clever pose this morning.

Today I’m working on an article for my new client. The feedback for the first two has been excellent. No changes required, so it’s full steam ahead.

Taking a moment to stop and smell the coffee. That’s how that saying goes, right?

I need the extra second because it’s going to be a big week.

I’ll continue working on a project with a new client, aiming to complete three articles by the end of the week.

Thumbs up for another week.

It’s been a big one.

I started a new project, delivering the first article today. It’s Thanksgiving in the US, so I don’t expect feedback until early next week.

Here is the other podcast clip I worked on over the weekend.

It’s a trailer for one of my favourite gaming podcasts, @minnmax.com .

I’ve signed a new contract

I’ve been waiting (hoping) this one would come to fruition. A couple of months ago, someone from America reached out wanting an Australian content writer for a local project. My agreement helped them secure a contract with their client

Do you have an audio-only podcast?

That doesn’t mean you can’t create video clips for it.

Here’s one I created from a recent episode of The Three Questions with Andy Richter.

Taking a second to sip my coffee, soak up some sun, and think about what I achieved over the weekend.

Bad weather canceled my morning walks on Saturday and Sunday, but I stayed productive and put together a couple of reels from podcasts I listen to. I’ll share them during the week.

Wrapping up the week with a fresh beer.

This one comes from Goodland Brewing Co. They give me One Drop vibes with their fruit-packed beverages that explode with incredible flavours. One sip tastes like lychees, the next is bursting with strawberries. I swear I’m not imagining it because of the ABV.

I wrapped up an AI editing project yesterday, and today, I start a brand new one.

What’s this week going to bring?

I’m kicking Monday off with a little bit of content strategy work. I’ll be making some recommendations on how to improve search rankings for a few articles. Some are already in the number one spot, so the focus is on keeping them there.
November 16, 2025 at 10:20 PM
Just wrapped up another week.

I updated a bunch of Black Friday and Cyber Monday pages in preparation for the big sales event, wrote a new article which hasn’t happened in a while, and finished up another wedding video.
