I think it’s fair to say all the roster atrophy had worn on him, such that he was a little more jumpy and uneasy in the pocket this year than usual, but he’s still the best QB in the league in a vacuum. Not worried at all about decline moving forward unless the knee is bad
Pending knee health, do you think anything has really changed about Mahomes? To me, it seems the talent around him has atrophied heavily, and scheme is *really* stale (anytime you can have the worst running back room in the league paired with super niche WRs, you gotta do it).

I do not. I wouldn’t be surprised at all if he’s already started his last game on purpose for the Vikings
Do you think j.j. can be starting calibre qb in the nfl? #Vikings
February 2, 2026 at 5:30 PM
Im still not all that impressed by him individually but I want to see how they reshape the skill player positions before I know how I feel about the O for next year
What are your thoughts on the Broncos next year with Bo Nix in Year 3, coming off this injury, etc?
February 2, 2026 at 5:27 PM
It’s going to come down to Maye continuing to develop his internal clock and limiting opportunities to get hit. He’s got small hands; the fumbles are probably just gonna happen if he’s hit often enough
Level of concern for fumble issues for Drake Maye? How should the coaching staff balance the need to limit turnover with that habit probably being a significant factor in his ability to create the way he does?

I think Im most curious to see what the changes in Baltimore bring.
Which team are you the most excited for in 2026?
February 2, 2026 at 5:23 PM
A majority of my gripes come down to Nix not being a very aggressive thrower over the middle of the field. He’ll only really do it in specific contexts (front side dig, maybe a seam on 4 verts).
What do you wanna see from the Broncos Offense/Sean Payton/Bo Nix - and can realistically happen - so you dont "need" to be so 'annoyed'/unsatisfied with them anymore?

(Dont get me wrong totally fine to be critical (in a constructive way), dont have to like everything)

The Philadelphia Eagles
It's Week 1 of the 2026 Season. AJ Brown is starting for ___?
February 2, 2026 at 5:18 PM
He can be a top half QB again if he wants to be. Think AZ was deadset on pigeonholing him into an offense that wasnt really suited for him — wouldn’t be that surprising to me if he looks solid (but volatile ofc) again with more of a gun heavy approach
Whats your current opinon on Kyler Murray. not just on the cardinals Situation but could he be a good (top 10?) qb somewhere else. maybeba question for the Podcast mailbag :)

Styles is a stud. Allen/Hill both make sense to me as top 50 guys. York is very good technically and instinctually, just small.

Golday is a sick athlete but plays a fake position rn and I don’t think he takes on blocks well at all; not sure he’s a top 100 type for me

thats all Ive seen
Are you as excited as I am that we're finally getting a nice LB class? It's been real thin the last couple years. Not sure how far in you are but how many LBs do you think will be top 100 types?
February 2, 2026 at 5:16 PM
I know they’re strapped for cash moving forward and the QB is no good but so long as that coaching staff is there I kinda feel fine?
On a scale of 1 to Jets, how worried should I be about the future of the Vikings?
February 2, 2026 at 5:15 PM
to be a little topical: Devon Witherspoon - Rakan

technically not built like other engage supports HP/stats wise but has the best engage kit in the entire game. insane mobility and unique ability to weave in/out of fights with his dashes. can fit almost any team comp and be flexible role-wise
What NFL player is a good comp for your LoL main?
February 2, 2026 at 5:14 PM
I want to say create 3 and 4 man surfaces under center and run at the edge players but NE has proven they’ll just fire the safeties if you do that

conversely, Im curious how much SEA empty we get bc they’ve really leaned on it at times and it might help undress some of NE’s pressures
What Seattle offensive formation are you most interested in in terms of attacking NE's personnel?
February 2, 2026 at 5:08 PM
I have not really watched them yet. My 2026 draft knowledge is about 6 LBs and also Caleb Downs
Are there any quarterbacks in this upcoming class that strike you as potentially good other than the obvious one?
February 2, 2026 at 5:04 PM
No idea what to think of Mannion specifically but I kind of like that they didn’t just go with some retread hire
What are your thoughts on Mannion as Eagles OC?
February 2, 2026 at 5:03 PM
got 30-40 min to kill before I drive over to SF

ask me anything
February 2, 2026 at 5:01 PM
yes. I actually think macro wise the game is closer to that era of the game than what it had been more recently
Worth trying if I haven’t played since like s4?

have spent a lot of my free time the last couple weeks playing League of Legends in the new season. can’t remember the last time I was this enthusiastic about playing the game — game is in an insanely fun and refreshing

sonny styles is incredible I’d take him like 9th overall idc
Who's your favorite so far?
January 29, 2026 at 4:44 AM
been watching some linebackers. I want to love Taurean York but he’s built like a french bulldog
January 29, 2026 at 4:39 AM
loved how the Seahawks used AJ Barner (88) to protect the edge on these boundary boots. awesome effort from Barner consistently to give Sam Darnold time; rewarded with a couple targets
January 27, 2026 at 9:15 PM
another nice pair of plays: first play of the game + a 2nd and 1 in the middle of the third quarter

same formation and call, QB just makes a different decision based on the defense's spacing in the box
