If you're thinking of buying that world of darkness bundle from @humblebundle.com , don't. It's a coupon for Renegade Game Studios website for the download, which has proved to be one of THE MOST frustrating experiences to actually get the books from. Their site is an absolute nightmare.

Like many homes, there were famous names we recognized in my household growing up. However, there were 5 in particular that really shaped me at the time and they weren't TV or movie celebrities. To: Anne McCaffrey, Mercedes Lackey, Piers Anthony, Isaac Asimov, and Robert A. Heinlein. I thank you.

Only 35 hours left in this crowdfunder. The world of Paksennarion was a big fantasy novel for me in my younger years, and I'd love to see it get more attention for a TTRPG. It's already funded, but hey, maybe we can hit a few more stretch goals? I'm not affiliated with them, just want to support.

The Cypher backer kit by @montecookgames.com isn't the only one I backed recently. I've been a huge fan of the Paksenarrion books for a long time, and there's an RPG. There's only a couple of days left, and they are VERY close to the stretch goal I want. Please consider backing it!

When my grandfather was teaching me to build stuff as a kid. He gave me this wonder advice to make sure your parts always fit, "Measure once, keep it a little too long, then cut it a bunch of fuckin times till it fits". lol.

I know it's not the normal advice. But that stuck with me to this day.

I've worked closely with MCG numerous times now on things, and frankly from everything I've seen, they're some of the best in the industry for just letting creatives be CREATIVE. They support human made art, and really let anyone they work with really explore. Some of the nicest people I know.

I say don't worry about it. It's obvious to anyone worth anything in community that you play and love the hobby. Anyone that'd say anything like that is just a wanna-be pundit that wants to make themself feel tall by trying to push others to be small. A vocal minority at worst.

yeah, episode 9 was just, "hey, anyone remember that movie Enemy Mine? yeah let's do that. Episode 8 was fun though. And for anyone that says Ep8 was too campy. I'd like to remind them about TNG's kid Picard, or Crusher having sex with a space ghost. TNG was campy AF.

Oh I know, I'll probably get responses of, "you're dumb and wrong". But I'll say it anyways. Star Trek: Strange New Worlds is not only solid TV, but quite possibly my favourite Star Trek series. Yes, even beating out TNG and DS9 (barely). The writing, the acting. I like it.
