Like all jokes aside I genuinely love how they tie the whole "Devil may cry" in the 3rd one better than in any other part of the series, its fucking peak and Dante rules. You go, lame-but-cool-but-depressed-as-fuck-demon-that-is-more-human-than-demon-because-he-choose-to-be guy! You go!

See, problem is, as much of an assholel as he is, Dante loves him. Like, legitimately. Probably in a much more realistic and mature depiction of love than his love for his mother shined in DMC 1. So seeing as he is the only person capable of doing that, telling him to kill his brother is... yeah.

The ONE thingn I will s ay about him is that after 5 he is on a SUPEPR thin ice because to this day they still never properly go down the route of "Oh no Vergil is totally a bad person his actions led to deaths of thousands of people (when he made the tower)" so I allow them a lot of leeway with him

When do you consider the game to be "done" done? Last patch of BG3 with no story content and just a lot of minor QA stuff + some new subclasses, that kind of stuff - does that still counts as huge addition to you?

I really need to see what exactly they changed in there to judge because sometimes "We made changes" is "Oh we remade art; some aspects ofo the scene felt incomplete so we added a little bit more dialogue; ect." And sometimes its"Yeah lol we're reworking the entire plot its now completely different"

I feel like all this talk does is reinforces that your mentality is that every fighting game should have all its characters going forward no matter what and that if it doesn't have the ones you like it sucks massive ass objectively.

I am not saying its a wrong or right mindset but its what it is.

You could say that ONLY moments Vergil feels ANY humanity in him is when his brother is around but that doesn't mean he will go full woohoo man like his brother.
That's them coping with their tragedy in different ways. Vergil by cutting himself from humanity. Dante by playing up his jokster persona.

I mean thats kind of their thing tho. No matter what the circumstances are, Vergil and Dante do love fighting one another, they did it since they were kids and even as adults they still do it, they feel alive doing it.

I feel like with Blaze its easier to explain because her all notable appearances are either in portable games which you can GUESS main devs would not really care for and in 06 which Sonic team wants to distance away from So the fact that Blaze gets ANY roles in games at all is already an achievement

Im gonna be completely honest - I doubt this moment will come for a LOT of people purely because they put off playing it for so long that by the time game will be "done" in 1 or 2 years they will just not care.

Like, what % of ppl who put off WotR actually played it AFTER it got "done"?
