I can confidently state that...it is OK. I'm glad I'm not 100% dependent on it.

Drinking my last glass of the pretty interesting Mississippi Sunshine, North American grown tea. And pretty happy that I stocked up on Chinese teas during our April trip to Spain.

This is a BDF! Major congrats to @qsteenhuis.bsky.social, @samglover.bsky.social, & the whole @suffolklitlab.org team for their work on this tool.

And thank you to @senatorledwards.bsky.social for helping bring this law into existence and for using our tool this morning to file a petition.

For the first time today, tenants in Massachusetts have a broad and powerful right to seal their eviction records, preventing unfair discrimination. Our Lab is proud to be a part of the rollout helping build this online tool complete with e-filing. courtformsonline.org/ma/forms/pet...
Screenshot of the Massachusetts Trial Court's "Petition to Seal Eviction" webpage, providing guidance on filing a petition to seal an eviction record. The main heading reads “File a petition to seal an eviction: Massachusetts Trial Court.” Below, a brief explanation outlines the three-step process: answering questions to fill out the form, previewing it, and electronically filing it with the court. A note clarifies that the site is not a lawyer and offers a link to find legal help. Green-highlighted text indicates clickable words for definitions. On the left, a vertical navigation menu includes sections such as Court Information, eFile Login, and Attorney Information. A “Listen” button is also visible at the top, suggesting accessibility features. A “Terms of Use and Privacy Policy” section appears at the bottom, crediting Suffolk University Law School's LIT Lab as the nonprofit host. The layout is clean and user-friendly, aiming to assist individuals in managing eviction records online.

@senatorledwards.bsky.social and I know: eviction records can be a major barrier to accessing safe, stable housing. Starting yesterday, a new law is officially in effect allowing tenants to seal those records online and have a chance at a fresh start.

When using #ChatGPT to help with coding, anyone else, after solving a bug on their own, have the irrational itch to tell ChatGPT why it was wrong and how you solved it?

"night" in NYC was optimistic. 2 hours on the tarmac, finally at the gate!

Shockingly small, I'm telling you.

Guys, I made a huge mistake. I didn't realize how much 16 oz of caramel Chicago popcorn was. Anyway, maybe it will smooth over one more night away from the kids!

Made it to Chicago, looks like I'll spend the night in NYC before making it to Boston

I had a great visit in Nebraska, but now I'm just hoping I'll be able to leave as a big snow storm is approaching the East Coast.

It does seem unlikely! Much easier to lie than to do it that cheaply

Long flights have turned into my secret productivity hack only because I have zero meetings during them! I guess I should be much more proactive about blocking off time in my day free from interruptions.

As a side note, I have to admit to using ChatGPT to generate title ideas for conference sessions and papers. But I noticed in a big way at #lscitc the flattening and genericization of the session titles. 🤔

The year is 2035. I meet President AOC in the Oval Office. "You've done well," she says. "By telling men to dress gay, you've lowered the population rate by 90%, thereby reducing carbon emissions." She slides me a manilla envelope. I can now afford a home in a walkable neighborhood
Someone on Twitter writes: "Unfortunately die work wear or whatever is a psyop to turn men into women . Cuz why the hell else would he be telling them to dress that gay"

I look forward to #lscitc the most of any legal conference. Maybe I'll see you in Phoenix next week? As usual I'll be talking all things #AI #a2j and #docassemble (in two sessions on Tuesday)
