The Quantum Biology DAO is a non-profit that supports the field with community building, governance tokens and an open competition for research grants.
Quantum biology offers a new way to explore questions about how the brain works. Instead of debating these ideas in theory, it asks a question: do quantum effects inside neurons last long enough to influence biology?

We supported a community member-led event hosted at a university in Nigeria, bringing together hundreds of participants. Students, researchers, and people curious about crypto-enabled collaboration gathered for a shared introduction to quantum biology and DeSci.

Its binding turns on and off with a magnet.

This is a HUGE step towards our dream of magnetically controlled drugs. Imagine a cancer drug that ONLY attacks the tumor, not the rest of your body.

What happens when you remove Earth's magnetic field?

In tadpoles, replacing Earth’s ~50 μT field with a low field (<1 nT) accelerated development, with effects as early as day one.
