Jim Lee openly disparaging AI in no way guarantees anything, no one knows what the future of AI is and no one knows who will be in charge at DC Comics down the line. But I think it's important that a popular artist publicly shot AI down. Fans and artists ignorant of or using AI need to hear this.

MAYBE, PERHAPS it's because it has stayed in the hands of its creators and is still small enough to avoid the gluttonous maw of media conglomerates, seeking to swallow anything and everything remotely interesting in the franchise landscape.

After another ALIENS iteration left me thoroughly unmoved, I am again reminded of the one franchise that's never missed. Every reboot, sequel, and spin-off, though not great in number, has changed the formula just enough while still keeping in mind what makes it great and keeps people coming back.
