SAVE THE DATE! Our biggest Queer Summer Camp yet is Labor Day Weekend, August 30th to September 1st across a 50 acre campus with accessible paths and indoor lodging and common spaces.

We have room for 50 LGBTQIA+ campers, aged 21+ who are based in Maine. Stay tuned for more details!

Join Queerly ME for an entomology walk in Falmouth on Saturday April 26th 1pm-2pm. Our walk will be led by Lindsey, otherwise known as Clamz! Kasino, a drag icon and insect extraordinaire. Turn over rocks / logs, look through leafy trees, and search the ocean shore and pond for insects of all kinds!
Join Queerly ME and 7 Lakes Alliance @7_lakes_alliance for a group breakfast followed by a canoe / kayaking excursion as we identify and learn about birds along the water. Our birding portion will be guided by Master Naturalist Samaa Abdurraqib and all gear will be provided.
We are rescheduling our March 16th Trail Mixer to March 29th, and to a new location! For our peace of mind amid recent program backlash, we want to take precautions to ensure the gatherings we hold are as safe as possible. We hope to do more story events in the future, likely integrated into our retreats. We’ll see how this first in-person storytelling event goes, and go from there!

Queerly ME and the Network For Older Adults is in search of 9 LGBTQIA+ storytellers ages 10-90 in Maine for an intergenerational story hour in Falmouth, May 10th 4:30pm-6:30pm.

We’re playing music for cows (and people)! Listen to live music embodying whimsy and magic and watch how the Belted Galloway Herd react to each piece. Pet some cows and stay warm with some hot beverages!

Queerly ME is funneling everything featured on our event stream and bulletin board into a new signal group we’ve created for your access. We will share events across Maine: LGBTQIA+, BIPOC, Environmental, Social Justice, etc. + resources like job postings, info. graphics, residencies, etc.
This is a (wonderfully) weird one, ya’ll! ISO musicians to play music for cows and people at our Music For Belties event at Aldermere Farm Sat. Feb. 22nd in Rockport! Each musician will be stipended to play for the cows and attendees. Yes, everyone, we’re trying to throw a semi-outdoor cow concert!
We had a wonderful time this afternoon with @falmouthlandtrust connecting and planting seeds from @wildseedproject and succulents from @skillins while enjoying the coffee, tea, and hot chocolate provided by @portlandfoodcoop. We loved seeing community care happen in such kind and comforting ways 🌱♥️
