Chicago improv. I like procedural art and narrative, paranormal + cosmic horror. ♠️💜
Smelled a candle marketed as "Capricorn" and thought "who would pay for this?" So... good job.

Pseudoscience drops falsifiability entirely just to mumble "hrrm, energy, hrrm, vibrations." Why not go wild? If physicists were allowed to just make something up, they'd come up with amazing self-consistent nonsense that would at least be interesting. I know this is true because many do it anyway.

"Knowledge undermines horror" I say as I watch the sea recede to the horizon

Can't believe these people had the nerve to bring a baby on the flight WITHOUT preparing 200 bags of snacks and earplugs for everyone.

Water fountains are such a devil's bargain for #POTS. "You want water, but are you willing to pay the terrible price of bending over to get it?"

My creative process:
1. Think "this song kinda reminds me of my idea"
2. Imagine a fan-made music video with hypothetical clips from my project
3. Convert clips to requirements

Isn’t it enough to see that the cosmos is terrifying without having to believe that there are eldritch horrors at the bottom of it too?

wondering how I can recapture that feeling of early 2000s internet communities, where the barrier to entry was being tech-savvy enough to even use them. and facing the horrifying awareness that they're still there, I just can't clear that barrier anymore.

Author: The message is that some things simply can't be explained.
Me: Which things?
Author: The fictional things I made up and refused to explain, mostly.

I'm not gonna call it my dream. But if my death can't be in a cave clutching a map, second-best would be one immortalized in a USCSB industrial safety video

Just when I finally feel like everything's lined up and I'm ready for anything, it's over. #Peglin is my memento mori

"fear of the unknown is the strongest kind of fear" actually a statistical error. terrors georg, who knows nothing and fears everything, should not have been counted

I love what I've heard called "process horror" or "work simulator horror," not sure if there's a better term. "I don't have time to deal with a ghost right now, I've gotta get these orders out the door" is just a delightful problem to have.

Thinking back to when I argued that I should make a game about Cannery Row instead of writing a book report, because I'd retain it better. So many years later, and yep: I still remember Steinbeck's vivid themes of catching starfish with a grappling hook as they fall from the sky
