I’d wake to the movie menu, push play again. For 8 months straight that movie with her was the only one I could handle mentally. I don’t know why, but I was thankful she was there. After clawing myself out of my depressing cave and finally able to move forward I thanked her. As I thank her now.

12 years ago I went through a surgery that left me partially handicapped, coming out with more issues than I did going in. I spent over 8 months with Diane Keaton on my screen, shut down mentally I’d wake to her sadness, then to her sarcasm, and at the end her loving joy.

I downloaded and created an account in late 2019, it was truly and awesome algorithm if you were a decent person. I 2024 something changed and it was noticeably different. By Jan 2025 I stopped using it, and I just permanently deleted my account a couple days ago.

Yes, I purged all Meta, and stopped using TT in January then permanently deleted it a couple days ago. My friends that are still on it will periodically download or screen record videos and share with me, which I thank them for.

Before you delete, go through your favorite follows on TT and find them on YouTube or BlueSky. I also permanently deleted all my meta accounts, good luck.

I stoped using TT in January, and permanently deleted my account days ago. I get my scroll-fix from the horrible algorithms of YouTube shorts, 小红书 (rednote), and Skylight. Skylight needs a ton of work. Majority of rednote users are nice and welcoming, but maga has been migrating there.
