Just read on a airline forum of someone who had the airline lose their bag, they got all the compensation money and the bag has just turned up at their hotel. A year later!!!

Turns out i did have an emergency instant porridge pot available. Camping supplies. But instant pancake mix look like an interesting add to the emergency supplies.
