This involved understanding how mental health professionals can support or prevent young people from feeling understood when they seek help. Epistemic injustice in clinical encounters is where one party has more authority and risks the other party’s contribution being sought or valued.

In young people’s grps, 17 papers shared how they created safe spaces to ensure group members were in an environment that was physically, emotionally, socially & mentally comfortable.
