I'm in Santa Monica court, where a civil trial is about to begin against DeAndre Cortez Way AKA Soulja Boy. The rapper's ex-assistant/girlfriend alleges recurrent physical and sexual abuse.

A previous domestic abuse trial against Soulja Boy ended with a $500K verdict in 2023.
