Sebastian’s words cut through the awkwardness in the air, settling inside of him and making his stomach clench. The band was important to him and he hoped it was just as important to his band mates, his friends. Yeah he could be upset but how important was it for him to express it in comparison -

It wasn’t like his friends to be late to band practice or to completely forget about it. Usually he was the one to forget things, lost in whatever situation pulled in his interest at the time.

Sam was much more outgoing it seemed but there was nothing wrong with that. His closest friends enjoyed more quiet activities or just less people interaction. He could vibe with either.
