Good morning! How are you feeling? I am in the middle of nowhere surrounded by rocky sandy desert. Here checking out the first spaceport in the Middle East. It’s in its infancy but definitely has potential. Didn’t get stung by a scorpion so that’s a win! #StayBright

Good morning! How are you feeling? Up early today and getting set to explore a new part of Oman and visit the Etlaq Spaceport. Lovely Omani dinner and hospitality last night - and then a wonderful surprise that made me giggle back at the hotel. Am now proud owner of Oman football shirt! #StayBright

Good morning! How are you feeling? Yesterday was a little bit incredible. I swam with turtles. Like, lots of turtles! I counted 24 at one point! Amazing. No idea if super cheap underwater fake go pro pics will be any good on big screen, but here’s one! Wow. #StayBright PS Olympic football team back

Good morning! How are you feeling? No footballers at breakfast because I was up early for a trip to the Damanyiat islands where I am going to do some snorkelling and maybe even swim with a turtle or two. Fingers crossed for friendly sea creatures and not ones that bite! #StayBright

Good morning! How are you feeling? I finally made it to hotel in Muscat after flight cancellation and delays. Then I conked out and slept all the sleep. In a very ‘Kate’ turn of events, at breakfast it was just me and the entire Omani Olympic football team. 😂 #StayBright

Good morning! How are you feeling? My flight got cancelled and I’ve barely slept and I’m sad the Vietnam adventure is over. Waiting to get on a flight to Muscat now, then need to remind myself of all the nice things I’ve seen and done to cheer myself up a bit. Like the Koi cafe… #StayBright

Good morning from Ho Cho Min City! How are you feeling? It’s my last day in Vietnam which is a bit sad. Next adventure awaits! Off to track down a cafe with koi carp and some coconut coffee to bring back to the UK. Still travelling, but moving back into a work phase of the trip. #StayBright

Good morning! How are you feeling? I’m pretty tired actually. Think I got a bit dehydrated yesterday. Enjoyed a trip to the Central Post Office in Ho Chi Min City to send a postcard. Weather seems decent today, but we’re heading down tiny tunnels and learning some history. #StayBright

Good morning! How are you feeling? Woke to the sound of rain and big crashing waves. Guess we chose the right day to leave the island and head to Ho Chi Min City. Going to have one last amazing coconut coffee in my favourite cafe on the sea. View a little different from yesterday’s! #StayBright

Good morning! How are you feeling? We found the beach just as the rain found us, but settled in a little local restaurant and moved tables onto the sand for sunset when the rain passed. There was even a rainbow! And we’re definitely not in the touristy bit of Phu Quoc! #StayBright

Good morning! How are you feeling? Currently on a high speed ferry awaiting departure. Beautiful tour of Mekong Delta canals and floating market (on its way out due to bridges meaning people can used mopeds instead of boats these days). Enjoyed cooking class and resulting food. #StayBright

Good morning! How are you feeling? It’s my last day in Hanoi and I’m going to miss this place. Popping in to a couple of favourite little spots before I leave. Ninh Binh yesterday was incredible. Stunning views and boat trip through some caves. Shame about the concrete industry. #StayBright

Good morning! How are you feeling? After the beauty of Ha Long Bay it was back to the bustle of Hanoi and some street food and ‘bia hoi’. (Draft beer with no preservatives so it has to be drunk within 24 hrs). I’ve really quite fallen for Hanoi. #StayBright
