It’s always super disappointing to enter a world in whatever media the story is being told from and I’m forced to either play as a human or follow around the most mundane to look at character. I get I guess the whole “needing to relate” but you don’t gotta look like a human to be relatable

Someone explain to me because I probably don’t think normally but why is it in a lot of stories you have this cool world full of awesome beings but the main character is always a boring human looking dude? What is the appeal of this? Watching dudebro kill things that are way cooler than him? Or her.

Action packed female character. She run fast, jump high, and can fight. But every damn time she has these tiny noodle arms. Just the skinniest stupidest arms that do not fit her military background/training montage she went through.
