Producer says creatives need to own their intellectual property so they can license it to generative AI platforms
The Eurythmics co-founder Dave Stewart has said artificial intelligence is an “unstoppable force”, and musicians and other artists should bow to the inevitable and license their music to generative AI platforms.
These platforms use artificial intelligence to analyse existing songs and tracks, using that knowledge to generate completely new ones as prompted by a user. For example, someone could ask the AI platform to generate a song about a boozy night out in the style of a Britpop band, and it would draw on songs with similar sounds and themes to create its own. Typically the old boy who was up and agitating at the driver, first in the q to get onboard this bus is a heavy smoker with a COPD hack. Smells like a furnace and sounds worse than a sick seal.

The Writer walks with a limp. It's not something she makes a great deal of but she lives with pain and mobility difference. The Seeker is dealing with mental health issues, grief, loss and low self esteem. The Creator has been working with a therapist for years.

My characters talk to me in dreams. When they talk to me - they're not at the moment because they're letting me concentrate on work and resting after my medical treatment. I've rarely slept so well as I have recently. Please may that continue, but without the medical issues...

I refrained from really engaging directly, but so much of it seems to be conflating well-considered worldbuilding and the bad stereotype of fantasy of "a bunch of nonsense words" as the same thing, some using this old XKCD as "evidence" of that.
