No, but events that happened to me IRL are in my WIP.
Have you ever based a story on a real-life crime or mystery? This is something I’ve always wanted to do, but haven’t gotten around to doing yet #writingq #WritingCommunity

The Creator would get thanks from the others for his role in their lives. He would tell the Seeker that it'll all work out in the end and probably tell the Writer that he loves her. The Writer would offer support to the Seeker. The Seeker would write a song for the Writer.
#QueerPrompts December 7: National Letter Writing Day: If your characters wrote letters to each other, what would they say?
December 7, 2025 at 8:21 AM
The Wrter's knees hurt in cold weather so she prefers the heat.

The Seeker prefers warmer weather too. He spent some nights running from his mother's partner when he was younger, and sleeping out was more pleasant when it was warm.
#writingcommunity Writing Question

Does your antagonist prefer hot or cold weather?
December 7, 2025 at 8:13 AM
I get it now.

America, I think you may have elected a magpie.

Why is it so difficult to buy a new mobile phone in this pit? I want a phone, dammit, not a mortgage! And just deliver the flipping thing already, don't make me jump through more hoops to get the order confirmed!

The Creator never quits creating.
#QueerPrompts December 6: Which character never quits?
December 6, 2025 at 5:44 AM
Either expressing their own fears or giving the chance to feel afraid at something that is not the world around them.
Why do you think that readers are drawn to dark or surreal stories? #ReadingCommunity #WritingCommunity
December 5, 2025 at 9:39 PM
The Creator isn't really into sunbathing. He like warmth but not excessive heat.
#writingcommunity Writing Question

Does your main character prefer hot or cold weather?
December 5, 2025 at 9:38 PM
Yes, definitely. They all would, for various reasons.
#QueerPrompts December 5: International Volunteer Day: Free Friday or where would your character(s) volunteer?
December 5, 2025 at 5:53 AM
The Creator's nutty but soft. The Writer's nutty. The Seeker gives the impression of being hard but that's only a front.

Typically the old boy who was up and agitating at the driver, first in the q to get onboard this bus is a heavy smoker with a COPD hack. Smells like a furnace and sounds worse than a sick seal.
December 3, 2025 at 8:03 AM
The Writer walks with a limp. It's not something she makes a great deal of but she lives with pain and mobility difference. The Seeker is dealing with mental health issues, grief, loss and low self esteem. The Creator has been working with a therapist for years.
#QueerPrompts December 3: International Day of Persons with Disabilities: GIF/Audio or description of disability rep in your story
December 3, 2025 at 7:28 AM
The Writer does. She made sure to register when she joined the Creator's team. The Seeker was only registered bu his foster parents so it's not as important to him.

Does your antagonist vote? Can they?

I can recommend following Lee Robinson on whatever social media you like. His work is amazing!

Rainbow. Still here. Currently navigating medical issues and work changes so not writing much. But the Creator, the Seeker and the Writer still want their story to be told. It will be. Eventually.
#QueerPrompts December 1: Introduce yourself & your WIP/story/book
December 1, 2025 at 5:51 AM
My characters talk to me in dreams. When they talk to me - they're not at the moment because they're letting me concentrate on work and resting after my medical treatment. I've rarely slept so well as I have recently. Please may that continue, but without the medical issues...
Is there a part of your writing process that would surprise readers, if they knew about it? Does talking to yourself to work out scenes count? 😂 #writingq #WritingCommunity

Yeah. Because every fantasy novel these days is as good as Tolkien.

Not.

(Exception, Centa Isla - Jack Hale. That IS as good as Tolkien. Made up words and all.)
Welp, fuck XKCD then

I'm going to go invent *more* words now just to say 'fuck you'
I refrained from really engaging directly, but so much of it seems to be conflating well-considered worldbuilding and the bad stereotype of fantasy of "a bunch of nonsense words" as the same thing, some using this old XKCD as "evidence" of that.

And that just hurts the genre.

www.bestconcertevergame.com Best bands to start your day.

Vote now.

I went for

3 Pink Floyd (relaxing)
2 Abba (familiar)
1 Queen (specifically It's A Kind of Magic which was the one that always used to make me get up back in the day)

It is my considered opinion that some members of the human race are so stupid they are dangerous. To themselves and others.
November 30, 2025 at 9:47 AM
Health treatment and work took priority.

Finished reading Centa Isla by Jack Hale.

Fantasy, magic, well rounded characters. Definitely recommended.
