I just got annihilated by a Lowe's employee for asking to locate an item, not realizing I was looking on the Home Depot website

I didn't.
I just stumbled from job to job - from a recycling plant, into retail, then a distribution center (warehouse), to my current job in IT Support. I never found fulfillment in any of it.
I'll probably run away from the tech field soon, but for now the paycheck keeps me chained to my desk.
