Today Clemmie was chasing gryphon & he jumped up onto the kitchen island & knocked off a huge glass vase, which shattered on the ground. Only 1 of these animals listened with guilt as I lectured them both & it wasn’t the one who knocked over the vase. This is the 2nd vase lost in the exact same way

Had a studio recital today. I sang a little piece by Bizet. It’s a 19th century banger & fun to perform, although it doesn’t sit super well on my voice. But the audience enjoyed it

Posted a longer bit about this on threads, but I’m super curious to see how the Jack Schlossberg campaign goes. He’s his father’s son in the face, but his persona is markedly young JFK & he’s the 1st presidential-line scion to run post JFK. How does he toe the legacy/nepo baby line? We’ll see

Deviating from the bake-off plan because now we also have a team potluck that same day. So I’m doing a cranberry relish for the potluck & peanut butter cookies dipped & drizzled in chocolate for the bake-off. It’s easier to transport than cheesecake (and some cookies will be plain peanut butter)
