I’ve been doing a bit more traditional drawing recently, feels more chill compared to digital. My trad work can get a bit messy, but I still like doing it!

Here's a somewhat recent color experiment from a few months ago where I designed Xīngliú's armor and gave her axe a redesign as well. This was fun and I'm very proud of it!

Her armor is supposed to look like an "upgraded" version of the basic armor that Xīngluò and Hánméi wear.

Thank you! It always helps me to abstract Mesprit’s 3D form as just a sphere with a sack or bag hanging from it, and then adding all the limbs. (But I doubt you need to hear that from me, as it seems like you’ve got a good handle on 3D form yourself!)

Sketching this character is nice because it’s got a simple body, meaning it’s great for both easy chill sketches as well as slightly more involved experimentation that would be more difficult on a more complex character.

I think I ought to draw more of it sometime soon!

Here's some coloring practice I finished not too long ago with one of my favorite Pokéchus!

This was great practice for figuring out how to color characters while utilizing a lil hue shifting. Mesprit is a great test character for experimenting.
